I’ve worked as a copywriter and creative strategist for close to 10 years, with most of my experience in digital and integrated work.
What I love most is developing brands and telling their stories, helping connect to an audience with meaning and emotion. My strengths include brand building, concepts, copywriting, content strategy, as well as presenting and defending the work. I am motivated, enthusiastic and believe in the wellbeing of the team above any one star player.
While at the University of Calgary I studied Communications and Film, paying for it by working retail jobs in bike stores and outdoor sports shops.
I’ve had two stints at Critical Mass, working on global accounts like Infiniti, Dell, Microsoft, Nissan, adidas, and Clorox. I worked to develop strategy and creative concepts for the full spectrum of digital marketing, participated in IA and UX direction, and wrote a lot of copy.
Most recently I’ve joined a stellar group of very smart people at Calgary’s Sajak & Farki. We put together comprehensive digital strategies for global accounts, weaving social, site, and traditional advertising into compelling integrated campaigns that engage our audience with story through multiple touch-points.
I’m an avid cyclist, have raced competitively, and I help run a local grassroots team called Synergy. I’ve played competitive rugby and soccer and I like to hike, climb, ski and get outside to move my body whenever I’m not inside moving my mind.
